An awesome spice cookie that is so-o-o-o good with coffee or tea - just another comfort food, for those of us with a sweet tooth!! Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup granulated sugar |
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, softened |
1 large egg |
1/4 cup unsulphured molasses |
2 cups nestle toll house premier white chocolate chips |
1 cup finely chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt in a small bowl. 2. Beat sugar and butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in egg and molasses. 3. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Chill for 20 minutes or until slightly firm. 4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; roll in walnuts. Place on ungreased sheets. 5. Bake in preheated 375F oven for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool comletely. |
