Got an ice cream maker and was looking for a recipe to try....Found this in The Best of 2003-Gourmet cookbook....I can't wait to try it....Would have never thought cream cheese in an ice cream Ingredients:
3 oz. cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed |
1/3 cup molasses |
2 cups half and half |
Directions:
1. Blend cream cheese, brown sugar, and molasses in blender until smooth
2. With motor running, add half and half and blend until well combined
3. Make in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions
