3/4 cup butter, softened |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 egg |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chocolate chips (optional) or 1 cup raisins (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Cream butter, sugar, molasses, and egg. 3. Mix remaining dry ingredients. 4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. 5. Add chocolate chips or raisins. 6. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. 7. Bake for 8-10 minutes. |
