McCormick Meatloaf with a little added touch. I tried this one night and thought that I ruined that night's dinner, but to my surprise..... IT WAS MOIST and delicious! Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 (1 1/2 ounce) package meatloaf seasoning mix |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup progresso italian-style fine bread crumbs |
1/2 cup hunt's roasted garlic tomato sauce |
6 ounces hunt's no-salt-added tomato paste |
1/2 cup onion |
1/4 cup green bell pepper |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except the tomato paste in a large bowl until well blended. 2. Shape meat mixture into a loaf in a foil-lined baking pan. 3. Top with 3 oz's of tomato paste. 4. Bake in oven 1 hour or until cooked through. 5. Top with remaining tomato paste. |
