Traditional chocolate chip cookies made from a family recipe. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter |
1 1/4 cups brown sugar |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons milk |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
2 cups flour |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Combine butter and brown sugar. Beat well. 3. Add eggs, milk and vanilla to previous mixture. 4. Beat for 30 seconds. 5. Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a seperate bowl. 6. Add this mixture to the first. 7. Blend well. 8. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. 9. Dropped rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 10. Bake 10-15 minutes. |
