You don't need an electric mixer for this, and some of the calories have been reduced, without taking away from texture or taste. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter (room temperature) |
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup artificial sweetener |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
3 ripe mashed bananas |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x5 loaf pan. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, apple sauce and sugar/sweetener; mix well. Add salt, eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and bananas; mix well. Pour the batter into prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes. |
