If you find you are out of sour cream for a recipe try this alternative. Ingredients:
3/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese |
1/4 cup plain yogurt |
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 packet artificial sweetener |
Directions:
1. Using a blender or food processor, blend cottage cheese, yogurt, lemon juice and artificial sweetener until smooth. Can be kept in refrigerator for up to one week. |
