This is an appetizer my family often serves in the winter, it is sort of heavy so a little goes a long way. I have no idea where the original recipe came from it has just always been around. We spread it on Ritz crackers and top with a bit of spray cheese and a slice of sweet pickle. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 (8 ounce) package liverwurst, softened |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 dash salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese and liverwurst with electric mixer until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix until well combined. Refrigerate until ready to serve but allow to soften a little at room temperature before spreading on crackers. |
