I got this recipe from my mother, not sure where she found it. This makes a cheese ball that is coated in black pepper, I don't care for the black pepper so I usually skip it. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese |
1 (6 ounce) package feta cheese (which ever size you can find) |
2 teaspoons parsley |
fresh coarse ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix cream cheese, feta cheese and parsley until blended. 2. Shape into a ball and coat in coarse ground black pepper. 3. Chill and serve with bagle chips, crackers, etc. 4. Can be made 1 or 2 days in advance. 5. If preparing in advance wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. 6. Coat in black pepper just before serving. |
