Mock german chocolate cake but no chocolate. Sounds more like an oatmeal cake to me. Ingredients:
1 c. one minute oats |
1 1/2 c. hot water pour oats, let stand |
1 stick butter |
1 c. brown sugar |
1 c. white sugar |
2 eggs |
(creamed together) |
then add |
1 tsp. of each cinnamon, soda, and vanilla |
1 1/3 c. flour |
Directions:
1. Mix together.
2. Pour into long pan (greased). Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

4. Icing
5. 1 c. brown sugar
6. 3/4 stick butter
7. 3/4 c. cream
8. Melt together and add 1 can coconut.
9. Spread over cake as soon as you take from the oven.
