We've made this for several weddings in our family and everyone really likes it. Ingredients:
5 cups sugar |
2 1/4 cups water |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 ounce vanilla extract |
1 ounce almond extract |
6 quarts ginger ale |
crushed ice |
Directions:
1. Heat the sugar and the water slowly until all the sugar is melted, stirring occasionally. Let this mixture cool. 2. Add the lemon juice, almond extract, and vanilla extract. 3. For every cup of this mixture, put 2 quarts of ginger ale in the punch bowl and add crushed ice. |
