I hate to make 7 minute frosting but I love to eat it. I came up with this out of sheer need for a little extra frosting for a cake and it really tasted like 7 minute frosting. Now nothing is as good as the real thing, but for something in a hurry, this works great. It is very tasty on a coconut cake and you can use any flavor you want for differnt cakes. Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) container vanilla frosting (ready to spread) |
1 (16 ounce) container cool whip |
Directions:
1. mix the 2 ingredients together and spread on cooled cake. The cake must be stored in the fridge when using this frosting.
2. You can use chocolate cool whip with chocolate frosting or just mix and match.
