Ingredients:
8 tablespoon(s) butter |
3 ounce(s) semi-sweet chocolate |
1 tablespoon(s) instant coffee crystals |
3/4 cup(s) sugar |
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract |
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 cup(s) flour |
1 cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350 - grease cookie sheet 2. melt butter and chocolate together in microwave - add instant coffee and beat with spoon 3. beat in both sugars, then beat in the egg and vanilla (again with spoon, no mixer required) - add baking powder and salt and mix with the spoon (make sure there are no clumps of baking powder) 4. add the cocoa powder and stir until it's mixed in, then stir in the flour and chips - drop by tablespoons onto the cookie sheet and bake on center rack for 10 minutes - don't overbake (overbaking will ruin the cookies) - they should be shiny and appear lightly underbaked - let them cool and set |
