Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups strongly brewed coffee or 2 1/4 cups espresso
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons unsweetened dutch cocoa
salt, a pinch
3/4 cup whole milk
Directions:
1. Whisk together the coffee, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a large saucepan.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil and allow it to boil for 30 seconds, whisking constantly.
3. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk.
4. Chill the mixture thoroughly, then freeze it in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions.
