This is another of those vintage recipes from Mom's Kansas cookbook. It's called a mocha cake apparently because it's frosted with mocha frosting (no recipe given) I'm guessing on prep time, # of servings and bake time and temp. Read more . This is exactly the way it's written and is for those of you who enjoy seeing the old recipes! Ingredients:
2 eggs beaten very light |
1 scant cup sugar, beaten in gradually |
1 rounding cup of flour |
1 tsp baking powder |
1/2 cup boiling milk to which has been added |
1 tsp butter |
Directions:
1. Put together as written.
2. I'm thinking 350 oven for 25 to 30 minutes in an 8 square pan.
