Creamy coffee goodness :-) Feel free to substitute milk with soy milk and ricotta with silken tofu. The whey protein I use is microfiltrated neutral whey protein, which doesn't contain lactose and makes shakes wonderfully fluffy. But of course you can use every kind of protein powder you like. As a sweetener I use brown rice syrup but will suggest honey. Use whatever sweetener you like best in what amount you desire.
Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
1 scoop whey protein
2 teaspoons instant coffee, or
2 teaspoons espresso granules
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
2. Enjoy!
