Got this from Jaimie Oliver's cookbook and pumped up the garlic volume, then added my own little twist for the perrrrfect Hummus recipe. My hubby can't get enough of this one!
Ingredients:
one 14-oz can of chickpeas
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, pounded
4-5 garlic cloves, peeled and pounded
juice from 1/2 a lemon (roughly 3-4 tablespoons)
1/2 teaspoon salt
8- 10 glug of extra-virgin olive oil
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients into a food processor.
2. Pulse several times until incorporated.
3. Add more Olive Oil until a nice and smooth texture forms.
4. Serve with Pita bread and Enjoy!
