Mj's Turkey Sausage and Shrimp Jambalaya |

Use turkey sausage, fat free chicken broth, frozen cajun mirepox veggies, and peeled, pre-cooked shrimp to save time and calories! Ingredients:
14 oz turkey sausage |
2 lb shrimp |
1 c rice |
14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes |
2 c fat-free chicken broth |
1 medium bell pepper |
1 medium onion |
1 cup celery |
2 cloves garlic |
1 tbsp vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Dice pepper, onion, and celery. Add to hot oil in large skillet. Saute until tender. 2. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and sliced sausage. 3. Bring to boil, add rice. Cover and cook until rice tender, about 30 minutes. |
