1 1/2 cups flour |
1/4 cold cup water |
1/2 cup plus 1 tbls. cold butter |
6 tbls. whipping cream |
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla |

1 cup pistachios |
1 cup pecans |
3/4 cup unblanched almonds |
3 eggs |
3/4 cup light syrup |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
1 cup milk chocolate chips |
whipped cream |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. In mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar 3. Using fork, cut in butter until mixture looks like fine crumbs 4. Add cream and vanilla and continue using fork to mix until dough forms ball 5. In ungreased 11 inch tart pan with removable bottom, press dough onto bottom and up sides of pan 6. Set aside 7. Filling 8. Put nuts into food processor and process until chopped 9. In mixing bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup,brown sugar, butter and extracts until smooth 10. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts 11. Pour into crust 12. Put tart pan onto baking sheet 13. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until center is set 14. Cool 15. Top with dollop of whipped cream before serving |
