Serve with nonfat vanilla yogurt for a creamy-chewy treat. Ingredients:
6 cups uncooked regular oats |
1/2 cup wheat germ |
1/2 cup sunflower kernels |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
1/4 cup sesame seeds |
1/2 cup honey |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
vegetable cooking spray |
1 1/2 cups chopped mixed dried fruit |
Directions:
1. Combine first 9 ingredients; spread on 2 pans coated with cooking spray. 2. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring 3 times. Cool. Stir in dried fruit. 3. NOTE: Store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks. |
