This recipe goes with Passover Chremslach with Mixed Fruit Compote Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind |
2 cups fresh orange juice (about 6 oranges) |
3 tablespoons brandy |
1/4 teaspoon whole cloves |
2 (7-ounce) packages dried mixed fruit |
2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks |
1 lemon, quartered |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes. Cool. Discard cloves, cinnamon, and lemon. Serve with chremslach. 2. Note: Store compote in the refrigerator for up to a week. |
