Ingredients:
3/4 cup(s) flour |
1/4 cup(s) brown sugar |
1/2 cup(s) rolled oats |
1 teaspoon(s) cinamon |
1/4 cup(s) butter cut in small pieces |
1 pound(s) fresh or frozen berries thawed |
1/4 cup(s) chocolate chips (optional) |
2/3 cup(s) sugar |
1 tablespoon(s) cornstarch |
dash of salt |
1 tablespoon(s) butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. To make crumble topping; mix together flour, brown sugar, rolled oats and cinnamon In a large bowl. If secured, transfer to food processor to cut in butter, using on/off turns until mixture resembles coarse meat. Or cut in butter with a pastry cutter or two forks. 2. To make filling, mix berries and chocolate chips with sugar, cornstarch and salt. Spoon into 9x9 inch glass baking dish. Top berries with crumble topping, covering berries. Bake cobbler 55 minutes, or until crumble topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling, covering loosely with sheet of foil if top browns too quickly. Refrigerate ant leftovers. |
