Made it for vegetarian friend Ingredients:
1/2 cup diced celery |
1/2 cup diced onion |
2 (19 ounce) cans mixed white and colored beans |
2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes |
4 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 tablespoon oil |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Saute onions and celery in oil in a large pot. 2. Add beans, including liquid. Add rest of ingredients and stir in 3 cups of hot water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. |
