Spicey meatballs when if u go some cocteyl in turkey they always bring this mitite köfte ..its must be in every party ı guess:) Ingredients:

• 1/2 c cider or white wine |
• salt; to taste |
• 2 sl stale white bread |
• 1 egg beaten |
• 1 lb ground lamb (beef) |
• 5 garlic clove smashed |
• 1 1/2 tbspoon cummin |
• 1/2 teaspoon cinamon |
• 1/2 tbspoon black pepper |
• 2 ts paprika |
• 1 cup flour |
• i cup canola oil for fry |
Directions:
1. Pour cider or wine over stale bread. Set aside. Put ground lamb in large bowl with paprika and salt to taste. Squeeze cider(or wine ) from bread and reserve. Add bread to meat. Mix. Add egg garlic ,cummin,cinamon,black pepper,paprika Beat for 7-10 minutes to give light texture. With oiled hands, roll into about 20-25 small balls (sise like walnuts), 1 T. each. Dust with flour. Heat oil in frypan. Brown meat.cook 2-3 2. minutes. Serve with sauce what do u like (ketchup,mustard ). Sprinkle with parsley. 3. İf u like u can do this : 4. Sauce: cook garlic clove and sliced onion in 3 T. butter. Add tomatoes, parsley, basil, paprika, salt, pepper and cider from bread. Bring to a boil. |
