This recipe was given to me by my brother. I'm not a traditional meatloaf fan. Something about that red sauce on top....Anyways this has become a new family favorite. Hope someone else will enjoy it also. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
3/4 cup oatmeal |
1/4 cup chopped green pepper (optional) |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Mix all together in a large bowl. Pack into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. |
