Mississippi Mud Cake

This cake does not last long at my house. With three daughters and myself chocolate is always welcome!
Ingredients:
cake
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cup flour
dash salt
2 tea pure vanilla
bag miniature marshmallows
frosting
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 stick butter softened
1 tea pure vanilla
4t milk or enough for desired consistency
1 cup chopped toasted pecans-optional
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350* 13x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray
2. In small saucepan melt butter with cocoa powder, remove from heat. In mixing bowl beat eggs with sugar, add in flour,salt , chocolate mixture. Be sure to mix well then add vanilla. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes until done. Top hot cake with marshmallows; allow to melt slightly.
3. Sift powdered sugar and cocoa together; add slowly to mixing well with butter; add milk tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Stir in nuts and frost cake while still warm.
