This cake does not last long at my house. With three daughters and myself chocolate is always welcome! Ingredients:

2 sticks butter |
1/2 cup cocoa powder |
2 cup sugar |
4 eggs |
2 cup flour |
dash salt |
2 tea pure vanilla |
bag miniature marshmallows |
frosting |
1 box powdered sugar |
1/2 cup cocoa powder |
1 stick butter softened |
1 tea pure vanilla |
4t milk or enough for desired consistency |
1 cup chopped toasted pecans-optional |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350* 13x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray 2. In small saucepan melt butter with cocoa powder, remove from heat. In mixing bowl beat eggs with sugar, add in flour,salt , chocolate mixture. Be sure to mix well then add vanilla. Pour into prepared pan and bake 35-40 minutes until done. Top hot cake with marshmallows; allow to melt slightly. 3. Sift powdered sugar and cocoa together; add slowly to mixing well with butter; add milk tablespoon at a time until desired consistency. Stir in nuts and frost cake while still warm. |
