Mississippi Mud Cake Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup cocoa |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 pinch salt |
1 1/2 cups nuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
marshmallow (to garnish) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and cocoa together. 2. Stir in sugar and beaten eggs . 3. Mix well. 4. Add flour, salt chopped nuts and vanilla; mix well. 5. Spoon batter into a greased 13x9x2 inch pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 45 minutes. 7. Sprinkle marshmallows on top of warm cake. 8. Cover with chocolate frosting (your favorite). |
