Easy recipe and tasty - the miso gives it a slightly sweet and Asian flavor and the roast comes out tender. Ingredients:
5 lbs pork butt |
1 piece gingerroot, mashed |
2 garlic cloves, mashed |
3/4 cup miso |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup shoyu |
Directions:
1. Mix miso, sugar and shoyu thoroughly in a large pot. 2. Add ginger and garlic; mix well. 3. Place pork butt in pot and simmer for 2-1/2 to 3 hours until done and well soaked. 4. Slice and serve hot! |
