Japanese Meals on the Go – Bento Boxes by Naomi Kijima Ingredients:
1 1/2 tablespoons miso |
1 teaspoon mirin |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon sake |
4 ounces round steaks |
Directions:
1. Combine the miso, mirin, sugar and sake and spread on the beef. 2. Cover in plastic wrap and chill overnight. 3. Scrape the miso mixture off of the beef. Grill or broil until medium rare. Slice into strips. |
