Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 tablespoon light corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
6 large marshmallows |
3 drops oil of peppermint |
3 cups pecan halves |
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until just before mixture reaches thread stage (230°). 2. Remove from heat; add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Add oil of peppermint and pecans, stirring to coat well. Place pecans individually on waxed paper; cool completely. Store in an airtight container. |
