I can't keep enough of this in the refrigerator. My husband's favorite. Ingredients:
8 cups water |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup fresh mint leaves |
2 oranges, sliced |
1 cup fresh lemon juice |
Directions:
1. In a big saucepan, add the water, sugar, mint leaves, and orange slices; bring to a full boil over high heat. 2. Take the saucepan off the burner, cover, and let cool for 1 hour. 3. Strain mixture into a large pitcher, discard mint leaves. 4. Add the lemon juice; stir to mix well. 5. Serve in glasses over ice. |
