Very refreshing for those hot days ahead - Note no sugar in this drink, with the mint you just don't need it. I know tho that some of you seeties will want to add sugar! You may want to dilute the tea ever further-it's up to you and how you like your tea Ingredients:
1 quart hot boiled water |
1/4 cup tea leaves |
5 sprigs mint, bruised with a spoon |
1 quart cold water |
Directions:
1. Remove the boiling water from heat add tea leaves and the mint. 2. let stand uncovered for 5 minutes. 3. Pour 1 quart cold water into a 2 quart picher, Strain the mint tea mixture into the cold water in the pitcher. 4. Do not refrigerate. 5. When you want to serve pour over ice into frosted glasses and decorate with a sprig of mint. |
