Deliciously refreshing fruit tea with a hint of mint and not too sweet. My family and I have been working on the right combination of juices, tea and water to come up with what we think is the BEST! Ingredients:
8 cups water |
3 family-size tea bags |
3 sprigs fresh mint |
4 cups fresh pineapple juice |
3/4 cup frozen lemonade concentrate, defrosted |
1 1/2 cups frozen orange juice concentrate, defrosted |
1 3/4 cups water |
Directions:
1. This tea is best made a day or so ahead of time. 2. Place tea bags and fresh mint sprigs in container in which you are going to steep tea. 3. Boil 8 cups of water and pour over the tea bags and the mint. 4. Let tea bags and mint steep as long as you can - I try to leave them in for a couple of hours. 5. Remove tea bags and mint from container, squeezing tea bags to get all remaining tea from them. 6. Add pineapple juice, defrosted juice concentrates and water; refrigerate. |
