Delicious used sparingly in iced tea, fruit punches and mint sauce. From an old Woman's Day magazine. Cooling time not included in preparation time. Ingredients:
4 cups cider vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup spearmint, leaves loosely packed (include young stem tips) |
Directions:
1. Bring vinegar to a boil; stir in sugar and spearmint. 2. Stir and crush; simmer five minutes. 3. Strain into hot jars and cool to room temperature. |
