Ingredients:
2 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened |
1 3/4 cups sifted powdered sugar |
1 1/2 tablespoons milk |
9 drops oil of peppermint |
red food coloring |
1 (10-ounce) package large marshmallows |
Directions:
1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add milk and oil of peppermint; beat until spreading consistency. Tint frosting with food coloring to desired color. 2. Spread frosting on top and sides of each marshmallow, using the tines of a fork to support each marshmallow during frosting procedure. |
