Fewer calories than a mint julep and you can drive home afterward (Gourmet Magazine, May 2005) Ingredients:
2 tablespoons bourbon |
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint, plus more (to garnish) |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 medium pineapple, about 2 lbs, extra sweet, trimmed, cored, cut crosswise into 1/8 slices |
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients, allow 20 minutes for flavors to develop. Can keep in fridge overnight. |
