                    Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                2 cups bottled spring water  |  
                                                3/4 cup sugar  |  
                                                3 cups loosely packed fresh mint leaves  |  
                                                2 cups bourbon  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Cover sugar mixture, and steep 30 minutes. Pour mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding mint leaves. Cool. Stir in bourbon. Serve over crushed ice.
