Mint Chocolate Chip Crinkles |

My son wanted to alter the traditional Betty Crocker chocolate crinkle recipe and this was an EPIC WIN!!! These are rich and delicious. We paired them with a small mint milkshake:) Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3/4 teaspoon mint extract |
4 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled |
4 eggs |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
6 ounces chocolate chips (about half a bag) |
1 cup powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, oil, vanilla, mint extract and chocolate in a large bowl. Mix eggs in, one at a time. Stir in the flour, baking powder and salt. Add chocolate chips. 2. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours. 3. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet with shortening. 4. Shape dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar to coat. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet 5. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool and serve. |
