These are a perfect addition to your holiday cookie tray or gift basket! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup water |
1 tablespoon corn syrup |
6 large marshmallows |
4 drops peppermint extract |
2 1/2 cups walnut halves |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except walnuts in heavy saucepan. 2. Cook over medium-high heat until candy thermometer reachers 235°. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Mix in walnuts. 5. Turn walnuts out onto waxed paper and quickly separate. 6. Let cool completely. |
