Light and refreshing dessert with a refreshing mint and chocolate combination. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
4 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup soft butter |
1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 cup soft butter |
1 tablespoon water |
1/2-3/4 teaspoon mint extract |
3 drops green food coloring |
6 tablespoons butter |
1 cup chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Cake: Preheat oven to 350. 2. Grease and flour 13x9x2 pan. 3. Combine first 5 ingredients and bake 30 minutes. 4. Cool completely. 5. Mint Creme Center: Combine next 5 ingredients and beat until smooth. 6. Spread Creme center over cake and refrigerate. 7. Chocolate Topping: Melt butter and chocolate chips in a saucepan. 8. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. 9. Cool slightly, then pour chocolate over top of cake. 10. Chill until ready to serve. |
