It's best that you not make this dessert unless you're ready for the rockstar notoriety that it will surely give you. It's impossible to screw up - requires a short list of ingredients and is oh so good. Note that some ingredients repeat in layers. Ingredients:
1 package (betty crocker) super moist cake mix |
1/3 c margirine or butter |
1 egg |
2 pkgs (8oz) cream cheese |
2 eggs |
3/4 c sugar |
2 tsp vanilla |
2 c sour cream |
1/4 c sugar |
1 tbsp vanilla |
cherry pie filling |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 2. Layer 1: 3. Beat cake mix, butter and 1 egg in large mixer on low until crumbly. 4. Press lightly into ungreased 9x13 cake pan. 5. Layer 2: 6. Beat cream cheese, 2 eggs, 3/4 c sugar and ttsp vanilla until smooth and fluffy. 7. Spread over cake mixture. 8. Bake 20-25 minutes until set. 9. Layer 3: 10. Mix sour cream, 1/4 c sugar and 1 Tbsp vanilla until smooth. 11. Spread over cheese cake. 12. Cool. 13. Layer 4: 14. Spread pie filling on top. 15. Refrigerate for ~ 8 hrs and enjoy! |
