This recipe goes with Scottish Meat Pies Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 cup lard |
5 to 6 tablespoons cold water |
Directions:
1. Combine flour and salt in a small mixing bowl; cut in lard with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle water evenly over surface of flour mixture; stir with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape dough into a ball; chill. Use as directed. |
