Simple finger food, so easy to make - tasty too. Ingredients:
1 can (11 oz) refrigerated breadsticks |
1 egg, beaten |
kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Unroll dough and seperate into 12 breadsticks. 3. Cut each breadstick in half lengthwise (I used a pizza cutter) 4. Roll or press each one out to a 10 rope. 5. To shape pretzel, shape rope into a circle, overlapping dough about 2 from each end, having ends free. 6. Take one end in each hand, twist once at point where dough overlaps. 7. Lift ends over opposite side of the circle. 8. Place 1 apart on ungreased cookie sheet. 9. Brush with beaten egg. 10. Sprinkle with salt. 11. Bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. (It only took mine about 11 minutes because I wanted them really soft.) |
