Mini Pecan Tarts

These are miniature pecan pies and require mini muffin pans to bake them in.
Ingredients:
filling ingredients
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 tsp butter or margarine softened
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup finely chopped pecan
pastry shell ingredients
3 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1 cup flour
Directions:
1. combine cream cheese and butter; blend until smooth
2. add flour, mixing well
3. refrigerate dough for 1 hour, shape into balls.
4. put each ball in a greased mini muffin pans, shaping into a shell.
5. mix filling ingredients together
6. fill pastry shells and bake at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes
7. may be baked and stored for futrue use in the freezer or store in tins for several days
