This is a weight watchers recipe that I modified to my own taste. Ingredients:
250 g minced steak |
30 g rolled oats |
1/4 cup onion, grated |
1/4 cup carrot, grated |
1/4 cup zucchini, grated |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs |
2 teaspoons tomato paste |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 beef stock cube |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients. 2. Shape into 2 individual loaves (approx. 5 cm x 10cm) place in a microwave-proof dish, cover with paper towels and cook on high power for 10 minute. 3. Stand for 2 min before serving. 4. Serve with your favourite gravy or a mushroom sauce. |
