These flavorful little loaves are a hit with children and adults alike. The topping is the key to a different, zesty tasting meatloaf. Ingredients:
1 egg |
3/4 cup milk |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup quick oats |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1/2 cup chopped green pepper |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon basil |
1 lb ground beef |
2/3 cup catsup |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. Beat egg and milk; stir in the next 7 ingredients. 3. Add beef and mix well. 4. Shap into 8 mini loaves. 5. Place in greased baking dish. 6. Mix catsup, brown sugar, and mustard. 7. Spoon over loaves. 8. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes, or until meat is done. |
