This is the greatest recipe for hot ham & cheese sandwiches. Works as a quick dinner item or appetizer. You can make whatever quantity you need. I usually make 12 in a 9X13 pan. Sometimes I substitute turkey and provolone for the ham and swiss for a different taste. Ingredients:
12 small egg buns |
12 slices shaved deli ham |
12 slices swiss cheese |
1/2 cup butter |
1 tablespoon horseradish |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons chopped green onions |
1 tablespoon poppy seed |
Directions:
1. Put ham and swiss cheese on small buns. 2. Spread with sauce. 3. Put in baking dish; cover with foil. 4. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
