These are yummy appetizers using puffed pasty to make individual pizzas. Use your imagine for topping them! Ingredients:
2 sheets ready rolled puff pastry |
2 tbsp. tomato paste |
sliced genoa salami |
3 tomatoes |
2 cups mozzarella cheese |
1/2 cup stuffed olives |
can anchovy fillets (optional) |
fresh basil |
Directions:
1. Use a 5 cutter to cut nine rounds from each sheet of pastry. Place pastry rounds on oven trays. Spread each round lightly with tomato paste. Top each with a basil leaf, salami slice, tomato slice. Sprinkle with grated cheese, top with a couple of sliced olives and anchovies, if desired. Bake in 375 F oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until well browned. Place on a wire rack to cool 5 minutes before serving. Makes 18 pizzas. |
