I came up with this recipe while I made brownies but instead of adding double cream I add milk and and put them in mini papper cups Ingredients:
14 ounces caramels |
1/3 cup milk |
8 ounces of dark chocolate |
6 tablespoons butter |
4 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup flour (sifted) |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 cup walnuts, chopped |
splash of rum |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven. 2. Cut the chocolate and the butter into small pieces and put together in a double boiler, Cook until butter and chocolate are well melted 3. Add sugar 4. heat the milk with the caramel in low heat, stir 5. Incorporate the eggs, mixing very well after each one of them. 6. add vanilla, the rum . Add the nuts and the flour, milk mixture, don't over mix 7. Put 4 tbs on the mini paper cup and bake it for approximately 30 minutes. 8. Served at tea time with coffee |
