These rolls are out of this world yummy. I think of them as mini rolls... Ingredients:
24 slices white bread |
1-8 oz. cream cheese |
2 egg yolks |
1 c. sugar/divided |
1/2 c. butter/melted |
1 t. cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Trim crust from bread. Flatten bread w/rolling pin. Mix cream cheese, egg yolks and 1/2 C. sugar. Spread bread w/cream cheese mixture and roll each slice of bread up like a jellyroll. Dip in melted butter and roll in mixture of 1/2 C. sugar and cinnamon. Place on a cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen cut into thirds. Store in freezer- no need to thaw before baking. Bake at ~350 for 10 minutes. Yields: 72 mini blinies. |
